Thrift Store Haul - October 2016

I do a lot of thrift store shopping. I'm one of those people who cycle through clothes quickly and was spending way too much money on fast fashion pieces that I'd only wear once or not at all. Shopping second hand has saved me money and has allowed me to change my style frequently without the guilt or the huge hit to my wallet. One of the reasons I started this blog was to show how second hand pieces can effortlessly fit into an alternative wardrobe and I try to incorporate them often into the looks I post.

I did a thrift store haul video for the last month and a half. I'd like to start shooting these regularly to promote second hand shopping and to give you all a glimpse into my current wardrobe. Here's the video:

I've already worn a few of these in previous looks. If you'd like to see how I styled them, here's the info:

The 90s red striped crop top can be found in this sporty grunge look from early this month.

The oversized ACDC t-shirt is incorporated in this look with my favorite tights ever.

That weird bright striped, decade ambiguous sweater is paired with my favorite jeans ever that I got from Stitch Fix in this look.

The witchy dress is featured in this look that I wore on Halloween.

I wore the red Converse sneakers with this lazy day look.

The platform Converse sneakers make an appearance with this graphic sweatshirt look.

The rest will be featured in future looks, most likely this month so check back often!

Have you had any great secondhand finds this month? What's your favorite find of all time? (Mine is the platform Converse sneakers, in case it isn't already painfully obvious.)
