Make Art Not War

Well hi there! It's been awhile!

Life is happening. I've gotten a great job here in my my new city. I'm an e-commerce specialist for a large non-profit and mainly work in the fashion department. I love that I get to be creative every single day. Going from unemployed to a full time employee has been quite an adjustment but every week seems a little easier and I'm slowly finding a way to do all the things I love to do on my days off - updating this blog included!

Otherwise I've been getting tattoos (you can see my latest in the last image), refreshing my purple hair, filming Stitch Fix unboxings, and just recently, roller blading again for the first time in many, many years (and loving it!).

Fashion-wise, things have gotten a little dicey. I've had some really bad weeks where I feel my body dysphormic disorder rearing its ugly head. It's been challenging to get dressed in the morning and even more so to take photographs of what I'm wearing while I'm feeling so down on myself. And though this outfit is nothing special, I was feeling very 90s, the weather was perfect, and I figured the new hair and new tattoo would help me get through a photo session.
